The City of Jacksonville Human Resource Department provides leadership to and works in partnership with other departments within City Government in order to promote managerial and workforce excellence while fostering an understanding and observance of regulatory requirements.
The department of Human Resources goal is to support City Government as it attracts, retains, and rewards a talented and diverse workforce with the skills necessary to meet the City's objectives in an efficient and cost effective manner. The Department adds value to the City by providing a variety of human resource services.
