The City of Jacksonville is pleased to announce that, as of December 1, 2008, Paul White will officially become Fire Chief. This is on the retirement of Chief Rodney Kelley, who has been Fire Chief for 21 of the 25 years he has worked for the City of Jacksonville.
Paul White brings over 40 years of experience to the City of Jacksonville. He started out as a fireman for the City of Houston in 1967. He later worked for the cities of San Angelo, Tyler, and Irving. The City of Jacksonville appreciates the experience Paul brings to the table.
