“Bad libraries build collections, good libraries build services, great libraries build communities.” – R. David Lankes
On September 12th, the library will show off its new tools and equipment paid for by the grant that will provide a new opportunity for adults and kids alike to expand their horizons, learn new skills, and have fun! Communities are built around a shared interest or activity and that is exactly what these new tools will create. They will expand the capabilities of our kids to learn and create and imagine. Adults are welcome to come to the event from 12p to 2p on Monday, September 12th. A special event for the kids to learn will be held on the same day from 5:30p to 6:30p.
Come to the library to learn about some awesome new programs and tools available through a grant at the Library!
Bring your kids to try all the awesome new tools and toys that the Library has purchased through a grant!
Middle-Schoolers and High-Schoolers welcome!
Join us for crafts, cooking, and other fun activities while we get real with your teens on issues they face.
A "Sam Houston Exhibit" with items on loan from the Sam Houston Museum in Huntsville, Texas opens September 1st. The exhibit will also include many items in our collection that have not been on display before!
